Dr. Jana Roberta Minifie
Co-PI, Dr. Jana Minifie, Texas State I-Corps Site for Entrepreneurship, is responsible for The Texas State Entrepreneurship Network and I-Corps Site training. She is also the Director of Texas State's Service-Learning Excellence Program; Professor of Management (Entrepreneurship) in the McCoy College of Business; Barshop Excellence Professor in Entrepreneurship 2015-2018; Entrepreneur; Angel Investor. She is a member of Texas State's New Ventures.
Carolina Africano, originally from Venezuela, is an MBA student at McCoy. She has work experience in Marketing, Business Development, and Communications in PwC and in Emerson. She oversees the Service-Learning activities with faculty, students, and collects/ calculate our metrics at the end of each semester. She likes to work out and run.
Harshal is a Graduate Assistant in Service-Learning Excellence Department. He graduated from the University of Pune with a degree in Computer Engineering. He has coding and programming experience, which he likes to use in purposeful ways. He likes to analyze data and is enrolled in the MSDAIS program.
She is currently a first-year Master of Health Administration student. As of right she is a Graduate Assistant for the Service-Learning Excellence Program, and is a direct support professional for adults with cognitive disabilities. This summer she graduated with her Bachelor of Health Administration from Texas State, and she hopes to be a hospital COO someday. Her hobbies include cooking, painting, and hanging out with her friends when she can.
Plancarte Mendoza, Jason (Marketing Team Lead)
Jason is currently a Senior Biology Pre-PA major and is the marketing team lead for the Service-Learning Excellence Program. Jason is an active member of the TXST Medical Explorers organization on campus. Some of his favorite things to do include cooking, hanging out with friends, and spending time at the river.
Frye, Abby (Social Media Team Lead)
Abby is an artist and Performance & Production major. They have worked in social media and creative work for over five years. She hopes to continue communal art, media, and civic practice that can address prison abolition, food and housing insecurity, and systematic inequity.
Jazmin is currently a senior majoring in Biology with a concentration in pre-medicine. She is currently an EMT and aspires to become an emergency medicine physician. In her free time, she likes to play guitar and grow avocados. Jazmin is an active member of the TXST Medical Explorers organization on campus.
Kaylin wants to be a physical therapist. Her major is exercise and sports science. Her favorite hobby includes cooking.
