Buy your Graduation Honor Cords

General Purchasing Guidelines:

Service-Learning Excellence (SLE) sells 8 different Honor Cords to students who have completed a Service-Learning Excellence Designated (SLSD) course. These cords are to be worn at your commencement ceremony.

1. Service Learning (1) - for anyone who enrolls in a Service Learning Section Designated course. To see if your class has that designation, look at the course attributes for your classes. If you see SLSD or "Service Learning Section," you are in a service-learning course
2. Entrepreneur  (1) - Complete any of the following to satisfy
   • Complete an Entrepreneurial course from any department at TXST.
   • Complete an Entrepreneurial program sponsored by TXST such as IGNITE
3. SLE College Designated Cords (6) - Anyone who enrolls in an SLE section designated course, who wants to represent their college.
   • College of Applied Arts
   • College of Education
   • College of Health Professions
   • College of Liberal Arts
   • College of Science and Engineering
   • College of Fine arts and Communication
   • College of Business

Important Dates for SPRING 2024

• April 8^th - Last day to purchase honor cords for mail delivery for Fall graduates. Cords ordered by April 8^th will be mailed by April 9^th.
• April 15^th – Last day to purchase honor cords for pick up from our office in Commons 207. See Office Hours below.  
• April 16^th – Last day to pick-up honor cords at Service-Learning office, Commons 207. See Office Hours below.
